Vinay Chaudhry,
B.Tech, M.B.A., L.L.B.(P)Vinay Chaudhry is an engineer from India and has done his Masters in Business Administration from Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario, Canada. He has worked with Johnson & Johnson Medical Products (Canada) for two years before moving back to India. While in Canada, he did Business Consulting projects for a Canadian and an Austrian company. He also did a summer course at Johannes Kepler University (Linz, Austria) and University of Economics (Prague, Czech Republic). He was the President of Ivey India Club in 2003-04 and is currently the General Secretary of the Ivey Alumni Association in India. Vinay is also the co-founder of Canada Chapter of Indian MBA Association.
In India, Vinay worked as a Senior Assistant Director and Head of Biotechnology division of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), which is the largest business organization in India representing over 150,000 companies. His work at FICCI required him to work closely with the Indian Government & private corporations on policy issues and also facilitate commerce by bringing together Indian and foreign companies. At FICCI, he organized a business delegation of Indian entrepreneurs to Canada and also hosted several Canadian and other international delegations. Post this; Vinay managed the office of the Minister for Technical Education, Industrial Training, Labor and Employment departments in Haryana (a province in Northern India). Vinay has deep family connections in Canada. His grandmother was a Canadian citizen and he has a lot of family and friends all over Canada.
